The present article is devoted to the piano music by Gh. Neaga, one of the most famous Moldavan composers. The article considers the ways of
interpretation, the particularities of composition, the genre and musical language of such well‑known piano pieces as: Doina, Prelude, Toccata, Tale
etc. The author emphasizes the role and importance of these pieces for the pedagogical repertoire of the Piano Department of the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts.
