In the article “Praise the Lord, oh my soul” by D. Hristov: about the problem of the harmonization of the traditional church melodies” the author considers the musical work on the text of Psalm 103 composed for choir by the Bulgarian composer. The researcher investigates the specific features of the Typikon, Biblical text and the musical language according to the musical practice of the Eastern Orthodox Churches and especially to the tradition of the Old-Bulgarian church chanting.
În articolul său „Binecuvântează suflete al meu pe Domnul” al lui D. Hristov şi problema armonizărilor cântărilor tradiţionale bisericeşti” autorul studiază lucrarea muzicală în baza Psalmului 103, compusă pentru cor mixt de către compozitorul bulgar. Cercetătorul examinează particularităţile Tipicului, textului biblic şi limbajului muzical, reieşind din practicile muzicale ale tradiţiei ortodoxe de Răsărit în general şi din cântarea bulgară eclesiastică veche în special.
