This article contains the analysis of C. Franck’s Sonata A-dur for violin and piano — one of the most representative creations of musical romanticism. The author investigates in details the thematic and dramaturgical processes in the cyclic composition of this piece, demonstrates the intonation sources of its principal themes and some modifications of the generative motives which realize the monothematic and leitmotiv methods of cycle integration. The article is intended for musicologists and performers of chamber music.

Atricolul de faţă conţine analiza detailată a Sonatei A-dur de C. Franck pentru vioara şi pian — una din cele mai reprezentative creaţii ale romantismului muzical. Autoarea studiază procesele tematice şi cele dramaturgice care au loc în compoziţia ciclică a Sonatei, demonstrează sursele intonaţionale ale temelor principale precum şi modificaţiile motivelor generative care reflectă acţiunea principiilor monotematice şi leitmotivice în favoarea integrării a ciclului. Articolul este predestinat pentru muzicologi şi interpreţii muzicii camerale.
