THE BEGINNING OF VLADIMIR ROTARU ’S CREATIVE ACTIVITY ON THE EXAMPLE OF HIS FIRST PIECE FOR FLUTE AND PIANO ANDANTE CANTABILE

În articol este prezentat debutul componistic al lui Vladimir Rotaru pe baza primei sale piese pentru flaut şi pian Andante cantabile (1959). Analiza este orientată spre depistarea trăsăturilor viitorului stil al compozitorului, printre care remarcăm sinteza tradiţiilor clasice şi romantice, folosirea genurilor muzicii populare.

The present article dwells upon Vladimir Rotaru’s debut on the example of his first piece for flute and piano Andante cantabile (1959). The analysis is focused on revealing the features of the composer’s future style, among them being the synthesis of classical and romantic traditions, the use of musical folklore genres.
