В центре внимания данной статьи — проблема передачи звучания народного инструментария в «Симфонических танцах» П. Ривилиса, реализованная композитором посредством выбора определенных условий, при которых тембры инструментов симфонического оркестра вызывают ассоциации с тембрами народных инструментов. Эти условия напрямую связаны с тематизмом и характером частей цикла и включают различную регистровую постановку инструментов (в пределах и за пределами их области выразительной игры), использование ненормативных сопоставлений регистров основных или видовых инструментов, а также реализацию различных тембровых комбинаций однородных и разнородных инструментов симфонического оркестра.

Articolul prezent are drept scop elucidarea problemei imitării sonorităţii instrumentelor populare în «Dansurile simfonice» de Pavel Rivilis. Sonoritatea specifică este condiţionată de o anumită alegere a timbrurilor instrumentelor orchestrei simfonice care creează asociaţii cu timbrurile
instrumentelor populare autentice. Aceste condiţii sunt direct legate de tematismul şi caracterul parţilor ciclului şi realizate prin intermediul unei explorării variate a registrelor instrumentelor (în limită şi peste limita expresivităţii diapazonului), prin intermediul utilizării netradiţionale de suprapunere a registrelor instrumentelor de bază şi specifice, precum şi prin intermediul realizării combinărilor de timbruri din instrumente omogene şi eterogene ale orchestrei simfonice.

This article focuses on the question of folk sound imitation of instruments in the «Symphonic Dances» by Pavel Rivilis. The composer achieves the folk-like sound aspect by choosing certain conditions particularly when the sound colour of the symphonic orchestra instruments creates associations with the sound colour of the authentic folk instruments. These conditions are directly connected with the thematic structure and character of the cycle’s movements and are accomplished through reaching various registers (within and beyond the expressive range) that the instruments are subjected to, through the un-normative layering of registers of main or type instruments as well as by means of achieving different sound colour combinations of like and unlike instruments of the symphonic orchestra.
