In this article the author considers the essential aspects of the Methodics Department activity that is considered to be the most important coordinative
center, founded at the beginning of the 70’s of the 20th century within the Ministry of Culture of the Republic Moldova Its achievements in the sphere of publishing Moldavan collections of music for all the chains of the republican professional music institutions (music schools, colleges, сonservatory) are particularly distinguished. The role of I. Stolear as the first performer of some competitive works by Moldavan authors (V. Rotaru Expromt, I. Macovei Toccata etc.), and her contribution to the expansion of the national repertoire for beginning pianists are highlighted.
