Autorul acestui articol pune în discuţie o colecţie de note muzicale pentru pianiştii începători „Pe aripi de cântec“, publicat sub redacţia pedagogului-pianist Irina Stolear. Repertoriul acestui manual constă din cântece şi dansuri populare moldoveneşti interpretate în mod tradiţional. Modul de instruire utilizat în acest manual este sistematic şi curent. Toate piesele din colecţie sunt aranjate pe principiul complexităţii progresive: alternativă, apoi jocul ambelor mâini, elemente de polifonie, asimilarea acompaniamentului, interpretarea într-un ansamblu. Din punct de vedere pedagogic, manualul este orientat şi spre dezvoltarea unor tehnici asociate cu tradiţiile dansurilor populare moldoveneşti.

The author of the article raises for discussion the collection of music for beginning pianists „On the wings of a song“ published under the editorship of teacher-pianist Irina Stolear. The educational repertoire included in the collection consists of Moldovan folk songs and dances performed in a traditional manner. The way of training, presented in the manual, is systematical and consecutive. All the pieces in the collection are arranged
according to the principle of increasing complexity: alternation, playing with both hands, elements of polyphony, assimilation of accompaniment, playing in an ensemble. From a pedagogical point of view the manual is focused on the development of some techniques concerning the traditions of Moldovan folk dances.
