В статье помещена информация о выдающейся молдавской певице М. Чеботари, сделавшей блестящую европейскую карьеру в первой половине ХХ в. Почти все годы жизненного и артистического пути примадонны пришлись на время фашисткой диктатуры: ее установления, развития и краха в результате Второй мировой войны. Несмотря на то, что артистка, ввиду большой популярности, пользовалась особым расположением нацистских властей, она не занималась политикой, ограждаясь от нее напряженной творческой работой. Будучи одним из женских символов сцены и экрана Третьего рейха, певице пришлось терпеть немало лишений, что негативно повлияло на размах ее карьерного продвижения.

Articolul conține informații despre remarcabila cântăreță din Moldova M. Cebotari, care a avut o carieră europeană strălucită, în prima jumătate a secolului XX. Aproape toți anii vieții artistice ai primadonei au coincis cu instaurarea, dezvoltarea și prăbușirea, în urma celui al II-lea Război Mondial, a dictaturii fasciste. În ciuda acestui fapt, interpreta, care se bucura de o mare popularitate și de un deosebit respect din partea autorităților naziste, nu se ocupa de politică, protejându-se prin muncă artistică asiduă. Fiind unul din simbolurile feminine de pe scena și ecranul celui de-al Treilea Reich, a suferit mult: dictatura a influențat negativ asupra extinderii carierei sale.

The article contains information about the remarkable Moldovan singer M.Cebotari, who made a brilliant European career in the first half of the 20th century. Almost all the years of Primadona’s artistic life fell on the time of the estalishment, development and collapse of the fascist dictatorship as a result of World War II. Despite the fact that the singer, due to her great popularity, enjoyed special respect of the Nazi authorities, she did not engage in politics, protecting herself by intensive creative work. As one of the female symbols of the stage and screen of the Third Reich, the singer endured many hardships: the dictatorship negatively affected the scope of her career advancment.
