Cinematograful, în primul rând, este o poveste a spaţiului şi, apoi, a timpului, mai corect ar fi a duratei. În film spaţiul nu este unul obişnuit, ci unul construit, virtual, o succesiune de imagini pusă pe peliculă după ce a trecut prin obiectiv. Emoţia artistică pe care ţi-o produce compunerea mentală a spaţiului filmic, la un moment dat, se apropie de sentimentul creat de realitate. În film nu există altă realitate, alt timp, decât cele create de el. Sunetul nu redă spaţiul, doar îl confirmă. În artă dispare hotarul dintre conştient şi inconştient, astfel, putem vorbi despre cinematograful mistic. Ca punte sonică între realitate şi inconştient, sunetul (fie muzica, fie efectele sonore) declanşează o magie a trăirii evenimentului de ecran, un fel de ataşament hipnotic al imaginaţiei publicului.

The Movie Theater is primarily a story of space and then one of time or more accurately it would be a story of duration. In the movie space is not the one known to all but one built virtually, a sequence of images printed on film after passing through the objective lens. Artistic emotion that mental composition of a space produces in the film can, at a time, approach the emotion that reality space creates. In a film there is not another reality, another time than those it created. The sound does not create space, but only confirms it. In art the border line between the conscious and the unconscious disappears so we can speak about mystic cinema. As a sonic bridge between reality and the unconscious the sound (music or sound effects) triggers living magic moments on the screen, a kind of hypnotic attachment of the public`s imagination.
