Autoarea articolului prezintă un parcurs istoric privind apariţia rugăciunii „Ave Maria” abordată de compozitorul V. Ciolac cu scopul reînvierii muzicii bisericeşti ce un timp îndelungat a fost interzisă la noi în ţară. Se remarca faptul că această compoziţie se înscrie în spaţiul sacral nou. Compozitorul utilizează textul canonic al rugăciunii catolice nominalizate, realizând o tratare individuală a acestuia în sensul adaptării la forma muzicală. În articol se propune o analiză detaliată a discursului muzical al lucrării ce conturează o schemă aparte, uneori urmând structura textuală, alteori abătându-se de la ea. Repetarea anumitor sintagme influenţează structurarea materialului sonor.

The author presents a historical survey of the appearance of the prayer „Ave Maria” treated by the composer V. Ciolac in order to revive church music that was banned for a long time in our country. It is pointed out that this composition is part of the new sacred space. The author uses the canonical text of the nominated Catholic prayer realizing his individual treatment in order to adapt it to the musical form. The article proposes a detailed
analysis of the musical discourse of the paper that outlines a particular scheme, sometimes following the textual structure, other times deviating from it. The repetition of certain phrases influences the sound material structuring.
