Articolul prezintă pentru prima oară o analiză integrală a Concertului pentru marimbă şi orchestră simfonică de Ghenadie Ciobanu, analiză, ce accentuează tendinţele muzicii contemporane academice de la începutul sec. XXI. Autorul determină importanţa Concertului ca o compoziţie
postclasicistă, care se încadrează esenţial în spaţiile postmodernismului muzical.

In the article the entire analysis of The Concerto for Marimba and Symphonic Orchestra by Ghenadie Ciobanu is first presented, which is accenting the tendencies of modern academic music of the beginning of the twenty first century. The author determines the value of the Concerto as the post-classic composition organically written into the space of musical post-modernism.
