1980-2010 – A NEW PHASE IN THE EVOLUTION OF THE MOLDOVAN OPERA

Articolul semnat de D. Coman continuă şi dezvoltă ideile formulate în articolul său precedent dedicat primelor două perioade din istoria operei naţionale. Autoare analizează procesul de suprapunere a soluţiilor canonice cu cele acanonice în aşa opere ca „Alexandru Lăpuşneanu” de Gh.
Mustea, „Decebal” de T. Zgureanu şi „Ateh sau Revelaţiile prinţesei khazare” de Gh. Ciobanu. D. Coman analizează specificul de gen al lucrărilor menţionate. În cazul operei „A. Lăpuşneanu” constată îmbinarea trăsăturilor dramei muzicale populare (Musorgski) cu cele ale monooperei şi o fuziune organică a elementelor de drama istorică si psihologică. „Ateh” de Gh. Ciobanu este lucrarea cea mai inovatoare, bazată pe o interacţiune neobişnuită între monooperă şi balet, în timp ce „Decebal” de T. Zgureanu continuă unele tendinţe de perioada precedentă.

The article by Diana Coman develops ideas which have been formulated in her first article with the same name, being dedicated to the first two periods of national opera history. The author analyses the process of overlapping of the canonical and non-canonical genre solutions in such opera as
„Alexandru Lapusnenau” by Gh. Mustea, „Ateh or The Revelations of Khazar princess” by Gh. Ciobanu and „Decebal” by T. Zgureanu. D. Coman analyzes the genre specific features of the above mentioned works. In case of the opera „Alexandru Lapusneanu we can affirm the mixture of the features of popular musical drama (in Mussorgsky‟s style) and the monoopera features and an organic fusion of historical and psychological drama elements. „Ateh” by Gh. Ciobanu is the most innovative creation based on an unusual interaction of monoopera and ballet, while „Decebal” by T. Zgureanu develops some trends of the previous period.
