Articolul reprezintă portretul de creaţie al compozitorului Marian Stârcea pe fundalul problemelor apărute în muzica corală pentru copii în Moldova post sovietică. Autorul cercetării analizează detaliat activitatea de creaţie a compozitorului, tot odată nu scapă din vedere creaţiile corale
dedicate copiilor. Materialele articolului pot fi utilizate în calitate de suport metodic de către conducătorii colectivelor corale de copii pe parcursul lucrului asupra repertoriului naţional.

The present article is thea creative portrait of Marian Starcea. His work is viewed on the background of the problems in the choral music for children in post-Soviet Moldova. The author of the paper thoroughly considers the composer‟s creative activity and his choral works dedicated to children.
The results of the article may be used as methodological assistance for the conductors of children choral groups in the process of working with the national repertory.
