THE HUMAN FACE IN THE ART OF DRAWING
The great masters of Renaissance studied and represented the human body and face that had ideal proportions. The elaboration of perfect proportions
of the human body has always been the essential problem of artists of all time. As a module for the canonization of the human body proportions serves the dimension egual to the height of the human head. The relation between the height of the human head and body is the anatomic canon of
the human face. In the sciences of fine arts the ideal canon that represents the relation 1 to 8 is the most frequently used.
