The article is dedicated to a thorough analysis of the leading part from the opera Serghei Lazo by David Ghersfeld and its stage realization by tenor Mihail Muntean.
The main idea of the analyses is the characterization of the hero Serghei Lazo presented through duets and ensembles that demonstrate the upsurge of the young revolutionary. There are a lot of musical examples in the article that justify the musical analysis of the character.
Mihail Muntean as Serghei Lazo is a complex realization of a valuable artist who has had a great impact on the creation of the National Opera Theatre.
