The promotion of the university educators’ emotional culture becomes a priority for the higher education reform in conditions of educators and students vulnerability against psychic diseases. In situation of correspondence between emotional intelligence and professional efficiency, these issues prove the necessity for creation of educators’ emotional culture with the aim of social insertion and adaptation to sudden changes, maintaining mental integrity and psychic health.
University educators’ emotional culture may be defined on axiological, motivational, cognitive and volatile dimensions integrated into a system of variables: emotion awareness and complex emotional implication; emotional expressivity and the power of behavior determination; emotional self regulation and flexibility; emotion empathy and management; motivation amplification and the pedagogical optimism; the ability of using emotions as a source of productive energy and professional resistance.
