În literatura lingvistică s-a discutat, în repetate rânduri, despre pleonasm ca greşeală de exprimare. Cu toate acestea, el se mai atestă în vorbirea curentă, în presă, şi nu numai. În articolul respectiv vom analiza unele cazuri frecvente în care apare pleonasmul, referindu-ne la exemple concludente, pe care le-am selectat, cu precădere, din texte ce ţin de domeniul artei.
De asemenea, vom specifica lapidar corelaţia dintre pleonasm şi tautologie ca figuri de stil, caracterul lor individualizat în contextul artistic – o varietate de repetiţie justificabilă, cu diferite accente de expresie.

In the linguistic literature, we have repeatedly talked about pleonasm as a mistake of expression. However, it is still attested in current speech, in the press, and beyond. In this article, we will analyze some common cases in which the pleonasm appears, referring to conclusive examples, which we have selected, especially, from texts related to the field of art. Also, we will specify the correlation between the pleonasm and tautology as figures of style, their individual character in the artistic context – a variety of justifiable repetition, with different accents of expression.
