Studiul de faţă elucidează aspectele corelaţiei sinestezice ale picturii cu literatura şi muzica, conexiunile simbiotice senzoriale şi intercorelările artistice între aceste genuri de artă distincte. Fenomenele sinestezice pătrund în pictură prin racordarea cu literatura, cu procedeele tehnice specifi ce genului respectiv de artă, aplicate şi în pictură. Utilizând experienţele sinestezice, artiştii plastici au creat simbioze artistice inedite între pictură şi muzică, redând grafic sunetele şi armoniile în compoziţii unice, reuşind să picteze muzica, să creeze simfonii cromatice şi peisaje muzicale.

The present study highlights and establishes the aspects of the synesthetic relationship of painting with literature and music, the types of symbiotic sensory relationships and the artistic intercorrelations between different genres of art. The synesthetic aspects penetrate in painting through interconnections and stylistic amalgams with literature, modern literary currents, technical procedures specific to the given art genre, applied in painting etc. The artists, using synesthetic experiences, created original symbiosis between music and painting, graphically rendering sounds and harmonies in unique compositions, managing to paint music, to create chromatic symphonies and musical landscapes.
