PEISAJUL ÎN CADRUL GRAFICII DE ȘEVALET DIN BASARABIA
LANDSCAPE IN BESSARABIAN EASEL GRAPHICS

Acest articol relevă situaţia peisajului în contextul artelor plastice din Basarabia anilor 1887-1944, oferind analiza detaliată a evoluţiei genului respectiv în cadrul graficii de şevalet. O importanţă deosebită în înţelegerea acestui fenomen îl au stilurile dominante în epocă pe tărâmul basarabean, aceste influenţe sunt preponderent de sorginte estică şi vestică. Elucidarea specificului local al peisajului sub diversele sale aspecte stilistice, tehnice, tematice şi compoziţionale este o prerogativă a acestui articol. Înţelegerea problematicii este facilitată de studiul peisajului în opera artiştilor notorii ai epocii: P. Şillingovski, N. Arbore, A. Baillayre, A. Plămădeală, Th. Kiriacoff, Gh. Ceglokoff, T. Baillayre-Ceglokoff, V. Ivanov, P. Bespoiasnâi, M. Berezovschi, R. Ocuşco şi alţii.

The present article offers a view on the situation of the landscape in the context of the fine arts in Bessarabia during the period 1887-1944, offering a detailed analysis of this genre’s evolution within the easel graphic. The dominant styles of the era have a particular significance in understanding this phenomenon. These influences originate mostly from the East and West. Explaining the specifics of the landscape taking into account different stylistic aspects, techniques, themes and compositions is the main subject of this article. The study of the landscapes of notorious Bessarabian artists of the era will help us understand the issues related to the this fine art.
