Fiddlers᾿ activity is strongly related to the cultural context of a folk area, becoming its remarkable representatives through their achievements. The dynasty of musicians Ştefăneţ, also left an imprint on the cultural life of the northern area of Moldova; nowadays, representatives of the younger generation, continuing the family tradition, treat folklore in a modern version.
