Авторству И. Пресс, замечательному российско-молдавскому художнику по костюмам и сценографу, главному художнику Национального театра оперы и балета имени М. Биешу в Кишиневе, принадлежат немалое количество проектов спектаклей, которые не были поставлены и сохранились лишь на бумаге. Среди них: институтские работы, этюды зрелого периода и талантливые эскизы последних лет. Эти задумки поражают высочайшим профессионализмом выполнения, филигранностью, изысканностью вкуса, глубоким знанием истории и современного состояния искусства, эстетической красотой.

Irina Press, remarcabilă designer de costume şi scenograf ruso-moldav, pictor principal al Teatrului Naţional de Operă şi Balet „Maria Bieşu” din Chişinău, este autorul unui număr considerabil de proiecte ale spectacolelor, care nu au fost montate în scenă şi au rămas doar pe hârtie. Printre acestea sunt lucrări studenţeşti, schiţe excelente din perioada matură şi cele din ultimii ani. Conceptele nerealizate uimesc prin profesionalismul execuţiei, măiestria filigrană, gustul rafinat, frumuseţea estetică, cunoaşterea profundă a istoriei artei şi situaţiei ei contemporane.

Irina Press, a remarkable Russian-Moldovan costume and set designer, chief artist of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre„Maria Bieşu” in Chişinău, is the author of a considerable number of projects for performances that were not staged and survived only on paper. Among them: institute works, drafts of the mature period and talented sketches of the last years. The unrealized concepts amaze with the highest professionalism of execution, filigree craftsmanship, refined taste, aesthetic beauty, deep knowledge of history of art and its contemporary situation.
