В статье рассматриваются музыкальные сочинения композиторов-современников — Михаила Бырки и Добри Христова, — представителей различных музыкальных культур. Сравнивая три образца хоровых обработок фольклорных мелодий, принадлежащих бессарабскому и болгарскому композиторам, автор выявляет их общие и индивидуальные черты. Эти несложные гармонизации обнаруживают стремление их авторов сохранить национальную специфику в том, что касается лада, метроритма, фактуры, синтаксиса, формообразования, и в то же время демонстрируют оригинальные подходы к трактовке фольклорных моделей.

În acest articol sunt examinate operele muzicale ale compozitorilor-contemporani — Mihail Bârcă şi Dobri Hristov, reprezentanţi ai diferitelor culturi muzicale. Comparând cele trei prelucrări corale ale melodiilor folclorice care aparţin compozitorilor basarabean şi bulgar, autoarea dezvăluie
caracteristicile comune şi individuale ale mostrelor muzicale analizate. Aceste simple armonizări atestă intenţia autorilor de a menţine specificul naţional în ceea ce priveşte modul, sistemul metroritmic, textura, sintaxa, forma, şi în acelaşi timp, de a demonstra nişte abordări originale de tratare a modelelor folclorice.

In the article the musical compositions by composers-contemporaries, representatives of different musical cultures — Mihail Bârcă and Dobri Hristov are considered. Comparing the three samples of choral treatments of folk melodies belonging to the Bassarabian and Bulgarian composers, the author
reveals their common and individual features. These simple harmonizations evince the intention of their authors to maintain national identity in terms of mode, meter and rhythm, texture, syntax, form, and at the same time, demonstrate original approaches to the treatment of folk models.
