SOME HISTORICAL DATA ON THE BEGINNINGS OF CHORAL PERFORMING ART IN BASSARABIA

The article contains unknown until now information about concert tours of well‑known foreign choral collectives which performed in Bassarabia from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. There is no doubt that the choirs of Slaveanski, Arhanghelski, Musicescu and others influenced the ulterior development of choral art in Bassarabia, being famous examples to be followed.
