From the beginning of the 70’s, in the fine arts of the MSSR, there is a close relationship between sculpture and ceramics. Thus, there are details in the thematic compositions, realized in the art of ceramics. In this aspect, the works of the ceramists Nelly Sajina and Louise Iantzen are illustrative, where the image of the man is dominant, moreover, in most cases it’s the compositional and conceptual centre of the thematic compositions. Some portrait details, in the works of the ceramists Nelly Sajina and Louise Iantzen, constitute an integral and major part in the creation of plastic harmony, revelation of the content of their works, achievement of plastic effects.
