REGIA – ÎNTRE OCUPAŢIE ȘI PROFESIE (PROFESIONALISM ȘI DILETANTISM)
ARTICOL

Directing, like any other science, evolves, develops upwards. Over time, its perspective changes the angle of view of things and is perfectible depending on the degree and diversity of the cultural information, the empiricism of scientifi c knowledge. In the theater and in school, one can hear a more amateurish than wise opinion, which endangers the true path of knowledge: „it can be so…”, „it can be diff erent…”, „it can be in a thousand ways…”. The certain truth is that such thinking cannot be in one way or another. The action without knowledge does not accept the words” neither” or „in some way”. The dilettante has the impression that everything is simplistic, possible and accessible, because he does not perceive exactly the intellectual implications that force him to build a lasting perspective, to reach essences, to outline original angles of view, etc. In order to become legitimate, the performance must be built on the pillars of competence and knowledge of principles, general foundations, on the theory of phenomena in the field of Directing.
