The author talks about the negative impact of the fashion industry that vastly aff ects the environment, being responsible for the water pollution, carbon emissions and great quantities of waste. This article emphasises all the actual problems caused by the development of this industry. It mentions that the identifi cation of the processes that damage the environment the most from the chain of production and activity of the fashion industry, may contribute significantly against climate changes. By supporting this idea, the author says that all the participants in this process have to make great efforts to reorganise the production and the profit of the textile industry, excluding the methods that damage the environment.
