Государственная академическая капелла «Дойнa» – старейший и самый значимый исполнительский хоровой коллектив в Республике Молдова. Один из важных этапов его развития пришелся на период Второй мировой войны: в 1942 году капелла была реорганизована в ансамбль песни и пляски Дойна, объединивший музыкантов, певцов и танцоров из коллективов Молдавской государственной филармонии.
Автором рассматриваются вопросы, связанные с жизнью коллектива в эвакуации и осуществлением концертной деятельности в военно-полевых условиях. Исследуется география гастролей ансамбля, анализируется подбор репертуара и взаимодействие администрации с композиторами, поэтами и руководителями других творческих организаций. Особое внимание уделяется вопросам устройства повседневной жизни и быта артистов Дойны в условиях военного времени. Автором используются все доступные архивные материалы из фондов Национального Архива Республики Молдова, мемуары артистов ансамбля, вспоминания очевидцев, биографии художественных руководителей коллектива.

Capela corală academică „Doina” este cel mai renumit şi longeviv colectiv coral din Republica Moldova. Colectivul a cunoscut o dezvoltare vertiginoasă în perioada celui de-al Doilea Război Mondial. În anul 1942 capela a fost reorganizată în Ansamblul de cântece şi dansuri „Doina”. Din componenţa ansamblului făceau parte muzicieni, cântăreţi şi dansatori din colectivele Filarmonicii de Stat din Moldova.
Autorul examinează aspecte legate de viaţa colectivului în perioada de evacuare şi desfăşurarea activităţii concertistice în condiţii de campanie. De asemenea, este cercetat itinerarul geografic al turneelor ansamblului, modul de selectare a repertoriului şi interacţiunea aparatului administrativ cu poeţii, compozitorii, conducătorii altor colective artistice. О atenţie deosebită este acordată aspectului extra-concertistic: viaţa şi existenţa zilnică a artiştilor Ansamblului „Doina” în condiţii de război. Autorul foloseşte toate materialele de arhivă disponibile din fondul Arhivei Naţionale a Republicii Moldova, amintirile artiştilor ansamblului, ale martorilor oculari ai acelor timpuri, biografiile conducătorilor artistici ai ansamblului.

The State Academic Chapel ”Doina” is the oldest and most significant performing choir in the Republic of Moldova. An important stage of development occurred during the Second World War: in 1942, the chapel was reorganized into the Doina Song and Dance Ensemble, which brought together musicians, singers and dancers from the Moldovan State Philharmonic.
The author considers issues related to the life of the choir collective during the evacuation period and the implementation of concert activities in military field conditions. The geography of the ensemble’s tours is studied, the selection of the repertoire and the interaction of the administration with composers, poets, and heads of other organizations are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the organization of everyday life and the life of the artists of the Doina Ensemble in wartime conditions. The author uses all available archival materials from the funds of the National Archives of the Republic of Moldova, memoirs of the artists of the ensemble, reminiscences of eyewitnesses, biographies of the artistic directors of the ensemble.
