Mijloacele transcendentale de expresivitate a actorului reprezintă un fenomen unic, ce a luat naştere în teatrul european din a doua jumătate a secolului al XX-lea. Apariţia lor a fost condiţionată de o treaptă nouă în dezvoltarea artei teatrale, care a reflectat ideile sociale progresiste, direcţionate spre descoperirea unui arhetip al teatrului general uman.

Transcendental means of expressiveness of the actor is a unique phenomenon has been formed in the European theatrical art of the second half of the 20th century. Their appearance depended on a new stage in the development of theatre art that reflected progressive social ideas directed to the discovery of an archetype of the general human theatre.
